Kosuke has been selected for one of three finalists of Emerging Talents category of Design Anthology Awards 2021.
荒木宏介
デザイナー / アーティスト
東京を拠点に活動。1988年スイス、ジュネーヴ生まれ。2010年多摩美術大学プロダクトデザイン専攻卒業。2013年英国ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート (RCA) デザイン・プロダクツ修士課程を修了。Tord Boontje, Sarah van Gameren (Glithero), Philippe Malouinより指導を受ける。
在学中より、現在も続く量産社会の在り方に疑問を持ち、効率性のみを優先する姿勢では得られないであろう新しい価値観や美意識、自然と共存共栄する人間味ある暮らしの風景を求め制作を行っている。「My Client is Nature.」をモットーの一つとする。
そのデザインは国際的に評価されており、ベルリン工芸美術館、クリスティーズ・ロンドン、ヴィクトリア・アンド・アルバート博物館 (V&A)、ミラノ・トリエンナーレ、オーストリア応用美術博物館 (MAK)、ニューヨーク近代美術館(MoMA)、アムステルダム市立美術館など世界各国で展示される。V&A、MoMA、CID Grand Hornuに作品が所蔵されている。
